When you don't have  "Show Login Form when activated" checked you get this response on the page
" An activation email has been sent to your email account. Please follow the instructions in the email to activate your account."

Which is good to let the user know to expect a activation email.

How ever if you check the box so you should get a logon form after you activate all you get as a response is.
" You account has been created successfully. "
You get the logon form here as well

There is no indication to the user that an activation email will be sent. And if a user tries to log on at this point they get a Logon failed since they are not activated.

Any way you guys could look into this please.

Thank You!

In the above example when the option "Show Login Form when Activated:" is checked you get the above message when you register. The user does not receive any indication that they will recevice an activation email.  If the user tries and logs on at this point they will get log on failed because they have not been activated yet.

In the example below, when "Show Login Form when Activated:"  is un-checked the user does get a message they they will receive and email and there is no logon box for them to fail on.  I still need to use this option when my users click on the link in the email to activate thier account, they will not get the log on box, once it tells them their account is activated.

Can you please make it when  "Show Login Form when Activated:"  is checked or unchecked they get the message below.

Thanks!

There seems to be resolved in the latest version, if I activate the box "Show Login Form when Activated" warning message to check the mailbox is not displayed to the user. Neither seems to work the "Autologin" option.
Removing the bugs, the module is great, I commend you for your excellent work. Thank you for your dedication.

This is not the case. With either the show form selected or not, the message is now:   An activation email has been sent to your email account. Please follow the instructions in the email to activate your account.   This is default either way.   If you are not requiring validation on your site, then this message will not be displayed. That validation is set in the DNN website under the Admin / Security Settings - Verified.

yeah, I know well the workings of DNN. The problem is that when you turn on "Show login form When activated" the warning message "please visit your account" stops display and goes directly to the login form.

We cannot reproduce the issue you mention. With the option "Show Login Form when Activated:"
enabled, we still get the message about an email validation been sent, when the DNN website is set to verified.

Can you please contact us with host login details using our contact us form. Make reference to this post, we will take a look.

I will send host account if necessary, the "AutoLogin" still does not work in the last version. The user validates your account and not log in automatically after clicking the link in the mail.
Similarly, as mentioned in our previous messages, if "Show Login Form when Activated" enabled, does not display the message "Check your mailbox ..." after send form registration.
In any case, I prefer to AutoLogin function properly, thus not necessary to show the login form upon validation of new account.

I just installed the lastest version 45.02.09, and like the template for the Check your email, but  the "AutoLogin"l does not work. When the user clicks the link in the mail it does not auto logon automatically.  Also when "Show Login Form when Activated" is checked you do not get the "An activation email has been sent to your email account. Please follow the instructions in the email to activate your account." However if I uncheck it, it shows up.

I do know it worked correctly in version 45.02.02a

Can you please look into this please.

We found the problem as as what we believe is a bug in DNN.

Function NavigationURL("","1","2") returns http://server/1/2/Default.aspx
However in DNN 5.5 it returns http://server/Default.aspx

We have released DotNetNuke Login Module update:  45.02.10 to address this.
