Data from Check Boxes no longer saves to Database (N/A)

We have created a form to capture registration information for an upcoming conference. The information typed into a text box is saved to the database, but the information from a check box is no longer saved. The only data that is stored in the database for the check boxes is a dash. All information is sent correctly via email to the participate though.

The value being saved by our code is the value set in the "Value of Item" for that check box. I am guessing that you have set a - as the value of this filed.

The value set in the "Value of Item" box is blank (nothing is set). Should this be set to something or left blank.

Set it to anything you like and the module will record that in the email and the database.

If it is left blank should it pick of the value of the check box? The email portion is working properly. For instance the check box for College Graduate is sending the value of College Graduate via email, but a - in the database.

If a check box has a value set as - "Check Box 1"

Then when this box is ticked, ti will record this in the database.

If the box is not ticked it will not record the value.
